Raffle Rules and Breakdown

Volunteer Raffle Dagger boat of choice

  • Raffle participants must be volunteers at Gauley Fest.
  • All volunteers get a red ticket (attached to a volunteer dinner ticket) when they sign waivers
  • Bucket for all tickets is located at the HQ cabin and at the volunteer dinner on Friday night
  • Drawing takes place at 10:30 on Saturday night at the main stage
  • Must be present to win (if a volunteer is still working a shift, have them give ticket to a friend to take to the drawing)
  • Boat certificate for Dagger boat of choice will be given to the winner

Membership Raffle Pyranha boat of choice, Riot Thunder provided by Diamond Brand, Fluid boat of choice provided by Rocky Mountain Kayak in stock

  • Raffle participants must be current members of American Whitewater (includes those who joined at Gauley Fest).
  • New and renewing AW members get orange tickets when joining/renewing at membership tents
  • Current AW members get a ticket by stopping by the membership tent (on honor system – will check winner in database)
  • Buckets for membership raffle tickets will be located at membership tents and collected/consolidated before drawing
  • Drawing takes place at 10:30 on Saturday night at the main stage
  • Must be present to win
  • Boat certificate for Pyranha will be given to the winner. Riot boat will be on-site and the Fluid boat will be on hand at Rocky Mountain Kayak from their stock

Silent Auction boats Jackson Kayak, Wavesport and Dagger (all boats of choice)

  • Highest value bid at close of Silent Auction will be declared the winner
